Holy Cannoli, what an ending. As much as I hated Loksat as an arc, I thought this was really good.

I would have loved it if it had not been the last episode. I was on the edge of my seat. I was about ready to throw something at the TV at the end if they had not showed the 7 years later.

My guess is the endings were:
Cliffhanger Leave them bleeding
Her not coming back: She did not survive
And the one we got.

I liked it! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The ending had me confused until I rewound and saw the "7 years later" at the bottom. I completely missed it the first time. I'm good with the happy ending. I would have watched S9 and was hoping for it though.

You guys!! How incredible was Nathan's acting tonight in that finale. That "truth serum" scene was award worthy!! He killed it tonight! He was amazing -- and that scene had me in tears! Was a bit embarrassing as I had company watching with me but that's okay. Did anyone else jump and grab their chest when he was shot? I was speechless .... and I'm still not too sure what happened at the end. If left to my imagination Rick Castle lives with his wife, Senator Castle, and their three children! |

Loved it -- but then Nathan could read the newspaper and I'd love it! I literally gasped when LokSat appeared and then when Castle was shot. Wonder if I'm the only one who was confused by the ending -- I watched it the second time to make sure I hadn't missed anything.
I'm glad we got a happy ending. However, I could have easily lived with a cliffhanger and then Season 9. A season 9 knowing it would be the final year would have been perfect. But with my box sets, TNT, and Amazon Prime Castle will live forever in my house!

Actually it might have been pretty good. TPTB made it clear they couldn't write for a happily married couple and apparently their hands were tied by the stars not wanting to work together. |

Yes, they lived happily ever after, both recovered and 7 years later were well and happy with a 7 year old little girl and 3 year old twin boys.  Just like the time traveller predicted! |
