Is this going to affect Nolan's rookie evaluation?

Did you guess the identity of the mole? Were you surprised?

No I was not surprised. I had a very strong feeling it was him and when he shot rookie officer for no reason I was positive.

I can't imagine how Nolan felt when he lost that gun. That's the kind of thing that clenches your stomach and turns it upside down. I'm sure all kinds of thoughts were running through his head. Probably one of them was the possibility that it would end his police career.
I wondered if it could have been Armstrong. He's more expendable than the regulars but we've seen that regulars aren't always safe. I really like Armstrong. I'm sure there's more behind the story. He could be working undercover to take down the Armenian mob or maybe they have threatened him somehow to make him work for them. Perhaps they gave him a lot of money for his wife's treatments to force him to work for them. IDK but I'm sure there's more to the story. Whatever it is, he's not coming back from gunning down an officer.
I understand Emmett wanting to stand up for his girlfriend but he's got to know that getting between Chen and her TO is a bad move. Chen handles it pretty well though. I'm sure there are situations where Chen would be happy to have her boyfriend stand up for her in spite of the fact that she is a highly capable woman that can take care of herself, although certainly not while she is in uniform. It's a tightrope Emmett will have to learn to walk if he stays with Chen.
I found it pretty unbelievable that Chris would leave his cover to run straight at a guy with a gun when he's been a cop for almost a year. Even scared with adrenaline pumping I can't imagine it happening.
I'm happy Lopez was made acting detective. I hope it means she'll be moving up. I'm happy Harper got joint custody of Lila.
It was very sweet of Grace to stop by the precinct and bring food for them after they lost a fellow rookie. She definitely cares about Nolan. She just needs to decide where her heart truly lies.
So what do we find out next week? Will Armstrong die? Will Grace and John get back together? Will Lopez get fed up with wedding plans and elope with Wesley? Will all the rookies graduate or will that get extended into next year? Will these shows even be able to film new seasons?
