It's worth posting twice! -OK As for Amazon, I'm an Amazon Prime member just like Nathan. LOL When I went to Amazon it says I can get a ComicConHQ channel subscription for $4.99/month but they were offering a 7 day free trial. I'm guessing S2 will be released weekly like S1 was. So I guess I'm going to be paying $4.99/month until S2 ends. If S2 is 12 episodes again, that's only 3 months. I can handle that, it's worth it! |

I'll just wait. Maybe it will be free in a few months. I'm glad that Nathan has a bigger role in this one, but it looks like Jack's star is starting to burn out.

Just watched episode 2. Again, a lot of Nathan. Some of which is t-shirt and sweat pants  -OK I enjoyed S1 but I'm liking S2 more so far! Alan has brought in a couple other writers to help him and I think it's paid off. Also......more Nathan may be a big part of it.  Anyway both episodes so far have been really good. It looks like from the previews that the next episode is the one Jon is in. I've never really seen Allison Haislip in anything but I really like her. Love her character Faith, Jack's assistant. |

Looks like there is a good chance for a S3 of ConMan based on what the guys said. They left it as a sort of cliffhanger between Jack and Wray so that would be great for the guys. It's really impressive that Alan said Lionsgate and CCHQ gave him complete artistic freedom for S2. They just pretty much gave them the money and said "we can't wait to see what you come up with". How great for creative people compared to networks etc. that try to change and control the entire premise and storylines of shows.

It must be fantastic to take a small crowdfunded project, have a large studio buy it for S2, and then to get a couple Emmy nominations! Well done ConMan team!! And congrats to Alan for the acting recognition. I've heard a rumor S3 is still in the works with one of the major streaming services, but nothing firm yet. |

The SyFy Channel revealed today that their SDCC "mystery sci-fi panel" for Friday is ConMan!! Here's the article that was retweeted by Alan. sdccblog.com/2017/07/mystery-syfy-comic-con-panel-revealed/Although it hasn't been announced yet, I think it indicates that the SyFy Channel has picked up ConMan to air on their network. I presume that means for a S3, and makes sense that they would air S1-2 also. Alan tweeted today a thank you to SyFy for picking up his show, but then he deleted it almost immediately. I think he wasn't supposed to mention it because they are saving it as a surprise announcement at the panel. Oops!! Great news for ConMan, on top of their Emmy nominations!!! Congrats to the team. Other than Alan and PJ, it wasn't announced who else from the cast/crew would be there for the panel. Nathan tweeted that if he couldn't make it (sounded like still a possibility he'd be there), it would be because of being busy with work. That has me wondering what work? He appears to be in LA, not Vancouver. So I don't think it's ASOUE unless he has to go back to Vancouver in the next day or so. If it's not ASOUE, I'm really curious what it is. Hoping he makes it to SDCC. SyFy Channel is the one who Zach is hosting this year, so probably also indicates the ConMan team will be involved in some of Zach's stuff too. |

SYFY just had a marathon this weekend to show Con Man season 1. I watched it when it first came out and wasn't overly thrilled with it. I thought a lot of the humor was just dumb and not particularly funny and I got so I really really hated the music that played before each episode and after each episode. I watched the last 2 episodes during the marathon and noticed they took out the horrible music. That immediately made it more enjoyable. I will certainly watch season 2 when they do that marathon.
I'm wondering who watched it this weekend and what you thought of it?

I totally agree with your assessment of Con Man Season 1. I did program my DVR to record Season 1 for another look. However, I noticed that ,for some strange reason, it only recorded the last 2 episodes? I agree with the music, not a good fit. I hope they air season 2 as I didn't bother with that.
