I guess we're going to have to find a new show to watch. I saw the following article about ABC's new shows. A couple look really promising like Designated Survivor and maybe Time after Time, and then there's the show with a talking dog. With any luck we'll find something to watch - it just won't have Nathan. ABC's Fall Shows

ABC's run by Disney so...yeah...good luck with that. ...and we wonder why Castle tanked.

Michael Weatherly is now gone from NCIS. I still haven't watched the finale so no spoilers please. Anyway, he deserves a break from the grind of a network TV show that's been airing for 13 years, but what does he do? Jumps right back into a new show. Bull - looks like it could be a smart new show. I'll give it a shot. After watching the trailer (below) I feel like I've seen the entire 1st episode! Bull

I'm finding it difficult to grasp onto any of the new shows -- will check out Bull. I'm spoiled -- I'm used to having Nathan's ruggedly handsome face on my tv each week and I miss him!

Thought it was a strange send off for Tony. I thought a lot of this season was pretty lackluster, but the characters are like old friends so I keep watching. I feel like a lot of people felt the same about Castle the last season or 2.

I like Michael Weatherly and his character reminds me a little of Patrick Jane in The Mentalist (which I loved.) Since I lost both Castle and The Good Wife, I picked up Bull to review for TVFanatic.com in the Fall.

Have to say, Michael Weatherly's new show wasn't even on my radar, but after watching this preview clip, I'm definitely interested enough to tune in and see if I like it. I was thinking of giving Animal Kingdom on TNT a try because I've always liked Ellen Barkin, but after watching their one hour "preview" episode last week, now I'm not so sure. Looks to be pretty dark and kind of creepy. Plus a lot of my cable shows are coming back (Royal Pains, Major Crimes, Rizzoli & Isles, Murder in the First, Suits), so I may not have room on my plate to add it. Heh. We'll see.

I might have to check out Animal Kingdom but I usually don't like dark shows. This is the last season of Rissoli and Isles. I'm not sure if Royal Pains and Suits are wrapping up too. Most of the new shows that I actually like are gone in the blink of an eye. They just don't give shows a chance to find an audience any more.

I've been watching the last season of Person of Interest. They are really burning off the episodes, showing at least 2 a week. Seems like a lot of shows that I watch are ending this year. Is anyone watching Houdini and Doyle? I kind of like it.

For the most part, yes, unless someone else is already reviewing it. I did review The Mentalist too. I wish ABC had given Castle that type of ending to wrap things up but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Currently, I review Once Upon a Time, Bones, Blue Bloods, Shades of Blue, Royal Pains, and I'll be picking up Queen of the South on USA network later this month and then Bull in the fall.

ibmjas and lala, Yeah, Rizzoli & Isles final season starts this Monday. This is Royal Pains final season and they've aired 3 episodes so far. I also love Major Crimes for its team vibe and Suits is my husband's favorite show. I think I'm going to skip Animal Kingdom. I'm just not up for any more dark, violent shows. That's definitely the trend these days and I don't mind watching a couple of those types of shows but too many of them is too much. I like shows that are fun yet have heart. That's probably why I loved Castle.
