IBM - Can we add some hearts to the emoticons?? Pretty please??
Also when you create a new post that isn't quoting someone....you don't get the post "Options" like the font color, the emoticons, the text box options at the top. Is there a way to fix that? I've been doing the post, and then going back and editing it which then makes the options boxes at the top come up.
Thanks!

As most things having to do with the board, I don't know how to add emoticons, but I will look into it. There is a Quick Reply box that you can type a reply into immediately or if you want access to all the BBcodes (colors, smilies, etc) you just have to click on the the REPLY button that is highlighted in green on the right hand side of the Quick Reply box.

Okay, thanks! No rush on the emoticons and please don't fret over it. LOL And my bad on the other green button. I hadn't even noticed it. Still learning.

Question...I'm seeing the words for the emoticons and not the emoticons themselves in some instances. For example, I see "hearts" instead of the emoticon for hearts in a post. It's also the case when I compose a post and look at the emoticon choices (like I see the words " " in writing this post). Is it me or is there a setting I need to adjust? Thanks!

ibmjas, if you've figured out how to add more emoticons can you send me a message with that info. I'm pretty tech inept but I'd love to add more emoticons over at Possibility For Joy if I can figure out how to do it.

I'm not sure what is happening in this case. Most of the new emoticons are a link to a different site. If that site is having issues that could explain it or if your internet connection is cutting out, but I've never seen that problem. I usually use my laptop but occasionally use my tablet. Are you using laptop, phone, or tablet? The other thing is, are you in the BBCode tab? That will only show the words. If you click on the Preview tab, you should see the image. Anyone else having this problem?

I get that when I use my iPhone instead of my iPad. Weird.

Yes, click on the cog wheel next to the Quote button and click on delete post. However, if your post has been quoted I don't believe you can delete it.

I can't believe I've been on here this long and just now am trying to start a new thread. But I can't figure out how to do it. Help?? I click on "Action" and "new" and nothing happens.
