Nolan really stepped into it this time. He figures out who the serial killer really is, but the killer realizes that Nolan figured it out and he incapacitates him like he does all his victims. Although Nolan is hurt and drugged and hands are tied, he is able to keep ahead of the killer until he finds scissors he can stab him with. The killer keeps after him like he had a paper cut instead of being severely stabbed. Nolan takes him down and although he lands in the hospital, he has no serious injuries. Now he and Bailey can recuperate together.
Wesley continues to work for Elijah even doing his best to get a murderer off the hook by discrediting the witness. Elijah didn't understand what he did and had him beat up. Even Grey notices that Wesley is working for several of Elijah's gang and finds it suspicious. He finally decides he has to come clean to Angela and I'm happy he did.
