Jon Huertas not only has a continuing role on This is Us, he is also in the 2nd episode on Elementary.

His makeup at the end (I won't give away the twist for anyone who hasn't seen it) was horrible. I actually laughed at their attempt. Did you notice? |

Looks like Jon may be one of those very fortunate actors to land two hit shows in a row. I'm already addicted to This is Us -- while I can't see an 8-year run like Castle, it's definitely one of the best this season, if not the best! Happy for Jon!

I'm really enjoying it. I watched Castle's replacement last night - Conviction. I was bored after 10 minutes. Just nothing original, and I thought the acting wasn't that great. The two leads had zero chemistry. Unlike some, I'm not a fan of Hayley Atwell. Looks like Conviction did horrible in the ratings for their premiere too, with a 1.0 demo and 5.44 mil viewers. Since most shows drop about 15% from their premiere, it's not looking good for Castle's replacement. Is it bad that that makes me happy? LOL Gonna try Timeless and see how that is. |

No it is not bad that it makes you happy. Especially since the sister of the person who had Castle cancelled and most likely had something to do with a certain persons firing is in it. |

I explained it to someone as looking like they just dumped a bucket of ashes over his head. It was pretty bad. If they have more of his character aged like that, let's hope they get better with the makeup. Face Palm |

Then we're both bad. Yeah, I suppose it might be petty, but I was kind of happy it didn't do well, and I generally like Hayley Atwell, but nothing about this show appealed to me. If the ratings numbers play out as expected, this may well be one of the first cancelled shows this season. We'll have to wait and see. I haven't watched Timeless yet but I recorded it. I'm hoping to check it out later on tonight. |
