I wonder if Nathan said something to him at SDCC about being unemployed. From what Nathan has said, I think that time in his young life where he didn't work for almost a year has left an indelible mark on him. I'm sure no matter how well you've done, every actor always wonders if there will be another job.

Nathan must start filming Modern Family soon, maybe this week, since they did the read through end of last week. Saw someone say each MF ep takes 5 days to film, so it would take up some of his time over the next 3 weeks, depending on how much he's in each episode. I think it's sweet that he's a little nervous. Who wouldn't be doing something different after 8 seasons on a show, particularly walking into a long established set like Modern Family. http://instagr.am/p/BJOHDEvD0m9 |

In one of the articles linked above, I read that Nathan would be hitting the big screen in 2 movies. I knew about GOTG 2 but what is Henchmen? Hadn't heard about that one at all.

I was reminded last night why I stopped watching Modern Family several years ago. I just can't get into it since the kids grew up. That being said, Nathan looked great, even in that somewhat creepy role.

That being said, Nathan looked great, even in that somewhat creepy role. This is the first time I watched an entire episode of Modern Family. I seen bits and pieces over the years. I thought Sophia Vagaras trying to speak more clearly was hysterical. I thought Nathan was spot on in with his pretty boy weatherman. He looked fantastic. It is amazing how good he looks in clothes that actually fit. |

But then I don't watch any half hour comedies anymore because I just find they're not my type of humor. Maybe it's my age because my kids watch a lot of them and find them hilarious. That said, I will definitely watch all Nathan's episodes. I thought he was the best part of the episode last night. Some of the other storylines just left me cold and are those kids really that bad of actors all the time? The kids that played Lily and Manny were awful IMO. |

I just watched Modern Family. What a horrible show! It was a nice moment when the boy did his video assignment and I enjoyed Nathan's couple of minutes, but I would never watch it otherwise. I will probably watch when he returns. Amazing how good he looks with good clothes and good light. Loved his hair blowing in the breeze.  3 Hearts |

I was traveling and haven't caught up enough to watch Nathan's episode of Modern Family yet, although I've recorded it. I used to love this show but the last couple of seasons have gone down hill. I liked it when the kids were younger but now that they are teens and early 20s, the show is always going with more sex jokes, that are just plain cheesy and sometimes (to me, anyway) inappropriate.
It's a shame because this is a show I really used to enjoy. In some ways, it reminds me of what happened with Castle.
