I was traveling and haven't caught up enough to watch Nathan's episode of Modern Family yet, although I've recorded it. I used to love this show but the last couple of seasons have gone down hill. I liked it when the kids were younger but now that they are teens and early 20s, the show is always going with more sex jokes, that are just plain cheesy and sometimes (to me, anyway) inappropriate. It's a shame because this is a show I really used to enjoy. In some ways, it reminds me of what happened with Castle. I think many shows of that type suffer with not knowing how to transition the kids into teenagers and then young adults. IMO they had the same problem a bit on Castle with transitioning Alexis from a teenager to a young woman. I almost felt on Castle that they went overboard with trying to make Alexis appear grown up. They went too far in that direction often, almost making her unlikeable in her new attitude. |

Heads up......ABC has moved Nathan's next MF episode to Nov. 24 which is Thanksgiving Day.

Heads up......ABC has moved Nathan's next MF episode to Nov. 24 which is Thanksgiving Day. I believe Nathan's episode will still air tomorrow as originally stated but will be repeated on Thanksgiving. and I just saw this on twitter: Guess Phil still has issues with Rainer dating his daughter!! -LOL I just thought there was a press release from ABC saying it was the 24th. But I'll DVR both just to be safe. LOL I just thought may that tweeter hadn't seen the change. Guess we'll know for sure tomorrow. |

Watched the show and - DANG - he looks so HOT!!!!!!!!!!! It's mainly the HAIR (eh, Lala?), but even dressed in 3 layers, he looked trim and lean. The only bizarre thing was the whole glove bit. I get the idea of a vane celebrity but a hand peel? I thought the comment about hair was much more in tune with his character. Wish he'd have ditched the white gloves.
Does anyone know how many more appearances he'll make?
Guess I'll dream about him on a nude beach tonight .......... Devil

Wow. That was an underwhelming appearance IMO. I don't watch the show so I only tuned in for Nathan and I feel like I was robbed of a half hour of my life. However, it seems that it's likely he'll be back for more since they didn't have any kind of breakup. On the positive side - give me that man dressed in leather!!!!!!!  |

It's much more enjoyable in fast forward mode. I don't care for any of the characters including Rainer.
