If Castle's writers had put half the effort into the scripts as these folks do, the show might not have sunk in the ratings, and it would still be on cast intact. |

Episode 6 was an excellent story! The Halloween theme was perfect. This was by alwayswritewithcoffee. Extremely well-written. I could easily picture this as an actual episode.  |

Episode 8 Brothers in Arms www.fanfiction.net/s/12252286/1/Episode-8-Brothers-in-ArmsThis one wasn't my favorite. It started out promising but was too easy to figure out what was going on. Castle's predicament was a little too much like what we'd seen before in the show. And please, Kate doesn't want to shoot a murderer who is firing off random shots and pointing a gun at her? Makes no sense.
The writing was pretty good, I just felt some of the story parts could have been stronger. |

Just finished episode 9. I enjoyed the story, although "case-centered" fic isn't generally my favorite to read. I enjoyed the twist of what happened to the pastries. I'm just really grateful to all the authors that have continued to write Castle fan fic. I have read some amazing stories that made me laugh, cry, and glow with joy. I appreciate their efforts very much. |

One is chezchuckles "Spirits" and the other is "Holidays in Your Heart" by whatifellinlovewith. Both are mostly AU but really great stories. |

Haven't read "Holidays in your Heart" yet. I have also been reading "A Single Dream Come True" by seilleanmor. It's an advent story that moves ahead one year and one day for each day of the calendar. It's an interesting perspective. Thanks for the suggestions! |
