Ouch. Review from The Wrap"The effect of all the chaotic editing isn’t just diluted suspense, but also an almost laughable performance incoherency across many characters; at times Cavill is all stoic watchfulness, or all man of action, while Daddario goes from a professionally sensitive interrogator to a tauntingly abusive one with head-spinning speed. And why Nathan Fillion is in the movie, hovering around the edges of the investigative team before disappearing completely, is perhaps the film’s biggest mystery." One of the most negative reviews I've ever seen. Doesn't look as though Nathan attended the premiere Friday night at the LA Film Festival.

Just curous dadumm, if that had been a glowing review of Nomis would you have hurried over here to post it or are you only interested in posting negative things where Nathan is concerned?

I looked at some of the tweets about Nomis. There were a couple that appeared to be critics that were pretty negative even panning Cavill and Daddario's performance. There were others that thought it was great and thought the leads performances were outstanding. I also saw a tweet that said there was a standing ovation when the movie ended. I'm guessing there were probably quite a few Cavill and Daddario fans in attendance which could have skewed opinions in a positive direction.
Nathan arrived late (perhaps he was working late?) but sat on the Q & A panel after the movie. Unfortunately, Cavill wasn't able to attend which I'm sure was disappointing for his fans.

I posted what was out there. I looked for reviews on Saturday since it premiered Friday and anticipated providing links for each one I found, good, bad or indifferent, for the interest of the forum members. This is the only one I found. That's the way the ball bounces sometimes. At the time I posted there was no word about Nathan attending. I see now that he did, arriving late as you mention.

They call Nomis 'fun and entertaining'. It looks like anything but fun and entertaining, more like dark and terrifying. But what do I know?

Nomis is supposed to be released July 25, 2019. We'll see.

Now Nomis is renamed to Night Hunter. Maybe we'll see it in August or September. The fact it is taking so long to get wide spread release makes it seem like it must not be too good. I don't think it's my cup of tea anyway but I may still try to catch it.

I’ll watch it, but I’m doubtful of how much Nathan appears. I’m retired now, so I have two hours to kill. 😂

I watched it. I thought it was going to be pretty good after the 1st 15 or 20 mins. Then they started jumping around from location to location when important things were happening leaving me confused as to what was going on. The bad guy was crazy. It was difficult understanding what he was saying some of the time. I'm not going to rush out to see another David Raymond movie any time soon. I'd give this 2 out of 5 stars. The writing could have been much better. I was afraid it would be gruesome but it wasn't. Cavill and Kingsley were of course very good. Tucci was good but his character almost seemed to be an afterthought. I didn't care for Daddario's performance. Maybe it was a combo of her character being poorly written and directed or maybe her own choices. Nathan's part was confusing as well. At 1st he seemed like a techie, then he was in the interrogation room, then they sent him out to tell the press 'No comment', but he was more of a background character. OMG, it was so weird seeing him with that long hair! His hair looks so much better now although I loved Castle hair.

Nathan has maybe three lines and is gone from the movie 40 minutes in. How this director got all these stars for this movie is beyond me. It must have looked very different as an initial script. Ugh.
