Thanks for posting that segment, IBM. I missed it live. It was nice to hear them talk about a few new things besides promoting The Rookie.

Several shows already have received full season orders. After just one episode, The Rookie has received an order for 3 additional scripts. Hopefully, in a few more weeks it will get a full season order. Keep your fingers crossed! Pigtails

WOOHOO!!!!!!!! Great news!!!!!!!! I really like the way the characters are developing and, even though Nathan is MY GUY, it's nice to have an ensemble cast with a variety of stories to weave together. Now, if only they'd move the show to a different day or time so it wasn't up against New Amsterdam. Maybe after the holiday break? |

How fun for these ladies. It is interesting to see behind the scene stuff. You see why it takes 8 days to film one 42 min episode. Lots of work by many people. This lady got some serious access to the set.

The interviewer asks about any possible sci-fi episodes given their backgrounds which prompts Nathan to come up with a pitch for the rookies to do some off hours security on a sci-fi show. Will this turn into a real episode? Well, if they are on long enough they will be able to do all kinds of shows.

Here's another interview. One interesting thing Nathan brought up that when he started his career, he had an affair with an older woman. Now the shoe was on the other foot so he asked Melissa what she thought about having an affair with an older guy. I would have liked for them to talk about that a little more. Melissa had a good response though. She said other people were making it weird at first, but it really wasn't. I wasn't sure I would like it, but I thought they clicked. I think it helped that she doesn't look 15 and isn't an air head.
