Nathan looks great! Tongue out Gotta love a man in uniform. Now that the pilot is done, I wonder what he will be up to until the show starts shooting the rest of the season? Maybe he'll show up in another show. It seems like he's everywhere this year.

So far it looks like the Rookie will get 13 episodes. It seems like that is becoming more standard. I'm not sure if that leaves the door open for them to order more episodes for the 2nd half of the season or if they will just call that the season and let Nathan branch out and do other things. He may have even written it in his contract that he wants a short season to pursue other opportunities. We'll find out later.

I thought this was a done deal, but ABC reserved the right to see the pilot before they decided if the Rookie would become a series. They have decided to move forward with it.
