I also watched again last night and I find it enjoyable. I just kind of roll my eyes every time there's a Castle - esque scene (like her theory spouting last night) but I do like the dramedy genre and there's nothing else available to me on network TV this summer. I like the way they seem to be in no hurry to ramp up a sexual attraction between the leads. It's giving them a chance to develop some respect for each other and a sense of friendship and partnership. I sure wouldn't say I'm invested in it but it's OK summer fare. Pretty sure that horrible closet scene was them ramping up the sexual tension. Apparently he puts his gun down the front of his pants or she’s bad at anatomy. 🙄 Sorry I just found that scene cringeworthy. And can someone tell me why she then turned off the light?

I agree with Nathanfan, Take Two is light-hearted entertainment and there is little of that on TV right now. Things that I liked about the 2nd show were the introduction of the assistant. She has that quirky personality that every show seems to need. Also I liked it when Sam was in court and Eddie stood up for her, but of course it backfired and now he's stuck with her even longer. The courtroom scene was a realization for both of them that there was mutual respect developing.
I won't even comment on the closet scene. OK, maybe I will. It was just weird, but put me in mind of things that Milmar did on Castle that were supposed to be romantic or sexy but in my mind was just dumb although others seemed to enjoy it. I don't believe Milmar will ever be able to write a real relationship.

If I had not watched episodes of Castle repeatedly this would be enjoyable. But egads they used the line "In A Hail Of Bullets" Maybe they think Castle fans will watch just to see how many Castle reference there are in each episode.

Now that we're in the 3rd episode, I'm getting more into it. The similarities to Castle continue, with Sam having to deliver the ransom this week and Eddie showing up at her work to give her a hard time, but since Sam and Eddie are so different from Castle and Beckett, I'm making less note of similarities and just enjoying it for what it is.

I'm definitely hanging with it for the summer. This 3rd episode was fun with the quirky assistants playing a part in things and I'm also pleased that Zeus is a recurring character. He's a good guy it seems.

En déduction je ne regarderai pas le 2ème épisode, d’ordinaire je suis enclin à toujours regarder une 2eme fois l’épisode pour être sûr de ne pas me tromper, j’ai aucune envie de me taper une seconde fois l'épisode ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------TRADUCTION I watched the first episode of Take Two, and I did not like it at all, ABC was wrong to associate it with Castle or make comparisons because the pilot take two does not come to the pilot's ankle from Castle. Do not have stana who want, do not have Nathan who wants, it can not be improvised. There is some idea, but it stops there, Marlowe and Terry, wanted to exploit the vein, it's a pity they were wrong, not to say misguided, but it is rare that we do twice the same series, and Castle is unique, in computer there is often a copy pasted, but it is rare that it happens in the world of series. The two protagonists play, that's the problem, no alchemy, no intensity between them, they play a role point bar. I would not go further because I'm going down in flames so much that I did not like it's really not the goal. I'm bored it's the height. Nathan and stana it was other things, the current passed, the alchemy was there, the intensity was present, stana and nathan, burst the screen, they stimulated themselves by giving the best of themselves, nathan gave the place and the possibility to stana of sparkling and fill the space and vice versa, they were complementary. The series was based on their talents. In deduction I will not look at the 2nd episode, usually I am inclined to always watch a second time the episode to be sure not to be wrong, I have no desire to hit me a second time the episode
Voilà ce que je pense de la nouvelle série de Marlowe et Terry ce n'est pas la joie ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TRADUCTION GOOGLE To not stay on a bad impression, I have again watched the series take two in vostfr and well, it's worse than what I thought, it had left me no good memory. At the second viewing, I persist and sign, it's even more bad than I thought. I should not have seen the pilot again.
Too bad for the people who loved, but I will say what I think and feel.
It's distressing, because there are scenes copied and pasted from Castle all looks like ... But nothing is like .... So first miss, because they wanted to make references to Castle, but they should not have done that, because it plunders even more the pilot and it shows that this series is void of I do not know how to express it! I'm going to start somebody's nasty, it's a big shit.
The pilot falls like a bad bellows that does not take, we feel it from the first minutes and it continues for 45 minutes strongly that it stops, it is undrinkable, that's all I thought as and when minutes of viewing. When the pilot was finished, I was relieved and I told myself happily !!!!!
It's heavy, it's bland, it's tasteless, no pep, no go, no imagination in the scenario, nothing new, no creativity, everything is flat, one word, it's no good at no one. History sewn of white thread, tasteless scenario, no original idea, obsolete and tasteless construction Between the protagonists, no alchemy, no genuine complicity, no real connivance, no osmosis. They recite their text, the scenes scroll and the pilot scrolls bar point, nothing can be saved, they do what they can, but problem, they do the minimum union.
The pilot is stuck, we wonder why they agreed to be in this series, it will take a lot of talent, a lot of perseverance, a lot of work, find writers up to much imagination for the series to be saved and lasts and stays in the programming grid.
It will take +++ to save the furniture, there is a film called, it is necessary to save the soldier Ryan, there these, it will be necessary to find the way to save a series named take two, because harder will be the fall.
The series makes me think of a house that imploded. As I wrote the bellows above, fell, but we fell again from above and it hurts for them, what a mess and it hurts.
All this for that and what a waste of time. No talent can straighten the bar, it will not be enough, we seek the talent, we seek the spark, we wait for the start, nothing comes, it's like Sister Anne we see nothing come. It's a big wet firecracker that does pschitt.
We see the episode and we get bored, we get bored, we do not see the time, because it's long tedious, unbearable, inaudible, it's a real ordeal, we ask ourselves the question when it will stop because it's boring. I was pissed, I reiterated my first feeling, I was pissed off.
But how Marlowe and Terry, we could lay this thing, I wonder what idea they had !!! I do not believe my eyes, they are not the ones who did that, it's impossible!
They left and they disengaged from Castle to create this ....... Thing, they jeopardized Castle, Castle after their departure took a hell of a lot of it for that it was not worth the candle and neither the blow because to lay it !!!! And what a mess, we ask ourselves the question why and what motivates them through the mind the law of creation is impenetrable
The only thing regretted: is that take tow is disappointing all that for that she gabegie
That's what I think of the new series of Marlowe and Terry is not the joy

M&M are bringing in reinforcements. They had Stana Katic live tweeting "Takes Two" last night.

Marlowe and Miller may have created Castle but they must have had a lot of help making it because when it comes to stories and plots they have a short supply. Tonights episode feature plot devices from several episodes of Castle.

I'm still enjoying it. Eddie and Sam are so different from Castle and Beckett that it is working for me. I like that it is light hearted and Sam has a good heart. The quirky assistants are fun too. It's good summer fare. I don't know if it will be back though. Seamus guest starred and it was fun to see him again.
Stana always had a good relationship with Milmar. Perhaps she would even do a guest spot if asked.

Last night's episode was perhaps my favorite so far. I thoroughly enjoyed the awkward and funny looks and comments as Sam and Eddie struggled with the unknown of what had happened between them. Like you, IBM, I'm really rooting for Sam in her struggle to remain sober. She's become a very genuine person. One of my favorite scenes was when they jumped into the shower and were washing each other, thinking they'd been contaminated. I could feel the electricity between them but I'm enjoying the journey and am in no hurry for them to actually be a couple. I just wish I knew the series was going to continue because it's frustrating to watch the progress but never get the reward.
I also agree that the 2 sidekicks are fantastic! The deadpan way they deal with things is hysterical.

I actually like the show. One of the few I intentionally watch. But I still think M&M have pulled numerous plot devices from Castle. The assistant make me the think of the 2 on Moonlighting. I would like to see it continue.

I forgot to mention Jewel Stait's appearance in the episode. That was a fun surprise for me. I recognized her the second I heard her speak. She also tweeted a pic of the license plate they used on her vehicle in the episode. It was a combination that read very much like the word "serenity." Fun little nod to Firefly!

I sure enjoyed this past week's episode, To Catch A Thief. It was written by David Amman, who wrote several good episodes of Castle in the first 5 seasons. I think that Eddie and Sam were ripe for a jealousy episode and was rooting for them to give in to the attraction. However, having said that, it's also my prediction that in the finale, we'll see them pull back and decide that they work well together and shouldn't complicate things with a physical and romantic relationship too. Of course that would be a great setup for them to have to fight off the attraction if they're given a second season. If they are not renewed, I'm glad we at least got to see them briefly connect with each other. Personally, I think it was well done.
