I have the episodes on DVR, but I'm behind on them. I'm hoping they get renewed. It was a cute summer show.

I sure enjoyed this past week's episode, To Catch A Thief. It was written by David Amman, who wrote several good episodes of Castle in the first 5 seasons. I think that Eddie and Sam were ripe for a jealousy episode and was rooting for them to give in to the attraction. However, having said that, it's also my prediction that in the finale, we'll see them pull back and decide that they work well together and shouldn't complicate things with a physical and romantic relationship too. Of course that would be a great setup for them to have to fight off the attraction if they're given a second season. If they are not renewed, I'm glad we at least got to see them briefly connect with each other. Personally, I think it was well done. I enjoyed the episode and would like to see the show renewed. There were a couple of scenes I really liked. The Asian girl writing a dating profile for her coworker and Sam telling her date everything she had learned about herself. |

Well, the season/series finale must have had a dozen, I gave up counting, scenes, scenarios and dialogues pulled exactly from various Castle episodes. I was always pretty much a MilMar fan but maybe they are a one pony wonder after all.

I was always pretty much a MilMar fan but maybe they are a one pony wonder after all. I read a review that said it is good thing you cannot be arrested for plagiarizing your own material or MilMar would be in deep trouble. I only saw about 20 minutes but I caught a couple in that short time. What MilMar had with Castle was a great idea with some good writers. Take Two has MilMar and David Amann who seem to lack original ideas. I actually like the show and the characters but I am with you MilMar may be a one trick pony. |

I agree about the many storylines from Castle but for me, the characters are different enough that I can enjoy seeing the way they deal with things.
I really enjoyed the finale and thought they hit just the right note when it came to the morning after issues. It was fun to feel Sam and Eddie fighting the attraction, and I also liked the fact that they realized that this was way more complicated and they needed to talk about it. That final image of them sitting on the couch at Eddie's place with Sam asleep with her head in his lap, left me with a very satisfied feeling. They care deeply for each other, are protective of each other, but also need to step back and work things out so that they don't destroy what they have. I'm really hoping the show comes back.,

Even if they ripped off Castle it was better than a number of ABC shows. ABC is not exactly spewing out quality shows or setting the ratings on fire. ABC has gone downhill since they put Channing Dungey ,who resigned her position recently, in charge. |
