There are several Profile selections you might be interested in.
Signature - Whatever you put in here will appear at the bottom of all your posts. You can even put in a smiley if you like.
Status - Whatever you put in here will show in your mini-profile to the left of your posts. The mini-profile contains your Avatar, number of posts, rank, etc.
Country - This will show your country in your mini-profile. Please enter this particularly if you're from outside the USA.
Avatar - You will be assigned to a default avatar, however if you want something different there are several other avatars to choose from.
Change your Avatar
1) Select Profile from the top bar.
2) Click the Edit Profile button on the right.
3) Select Use a Forum Avatar, then click on Pick One, You'll see several avatars.
4) Click on the one you like.
5) Click the Save Avatar Changes button.
6) Click on Home on the top bar to return to the main board.
Still not happy with your avatar? You can make your own using a picture you have.
*Note* You may be be able to skip the shrinkpictures section and go straight to the upload section.
1) Go to www.shrinkpictures.com/
2) Select Create an Avatar
3) Click on Choose File to get your picture
4) Set size to 150
5) Click on Resize
6) You'll see 3 different croppings of your picture. If one of them works, next step
7) Select Download this picture Now. This will probably go to your Download folder.
Now, upload back at the board:
1) Select Profile from the top bar.
2) Click the Edit Profile button on the right.
3) Click on Upload/Link Avatar
4) Select your newly created avatar
5) Select Use only the Uploaded/Linked
6) Click the Save Avatar Changes button.
7) Click on Home on the top bar to return to the main board.
