No, you're absolutely right about the sexy hugs. I've watched Nathan hug Keri Russell in The Waitress so many times that my DVD just automatically rewinds to that doorway scene on its own. OMG, that was such a sweet scene! She was so miserable and then Nathan comes along and just wants to hold her for as long as she needed. I loved them making the pies too. She was amazed he was interested in her and what was important to her. It was such a wonderful story. It's just so horrible that Adrienne Shelly was murdered without even knowing how successful her little film would be. I think of Adrienne Shelly whenever I watch that movie, and how sad it is that she never got to see how well loved it is. She truly had her vision of how the movie should go, and I absolutely love her result. I watched the extras on that DVD, with Nathan saying he was a little unsure about how she wanted him to play his part, but admitting that she obviously knew what she was doing and had the big picture in her mind. I know some people have said they don't like the movie because Nathan is cheating on his wife, but I guess I don't really focus on that aspect, I just enjoy watching Nathan. I always enjoy watching Nathan.......whether he's walking towards me or away.

From Matt Roush, TVInsider...... Question: I love Nathan Fillion and Castle, so I was devastated by the cancellation! Why couldn't they use the Castle PI theme and turn it into its own show? I really liked the dynamics between Castle and Hayley!! At least I still have the quirky Lucifer to look forward to. I was surprised but very glad to hear our favorite devil will walk amongst us at least another season - Mary Jo
Matt Roush: Letting Castle fly solo was obviously the intent of the cliffhanger (minus the tacked-on ending), given what we already knew about who was expected to return if there had been a ninth season. But I’m in the camp that feels it was time to let the show go, rather than continue in an even more diminished state. I’m a Nathan Fillion fan, too, and expect there will be another great TV role for him on the horizon. If he gets booked as a guest star on Lucifer next season, I expect to hear from you again. (And kudos for finding at least one silver cloud amid the cancellation doom and gloom.)
Let's hope in the very NEAR future! Source: www.tvinsider.com/article/90118/ask-matt-the-flash-gets-darker-plus-nashville-and-castle-finales-orphan-black-and-more/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=tvi

Did anyone else beside me think there must be more to that story -- after the movie ends? Like it didn't end with her just walking away? That they somehow got back together? Couldn't there be a sequel? Keri and Nathan? In desperation I even checked to see if anyone had written fan fictions about the Waitress -- only two one-chapter stories that I found. This is maddening. Maybe I'll have a Firefly Marathon tonight and clear my head. Sorry for rambling!

Thanks for the tip!

She had her own plans and dreams that she was now able to follow with her beautiful little girl. I never dreamed that she would somehow end up with Nathan, but now that you brought it up, it would be awesome if they were to run into each other years later (after his divorce of course) and fall in love all over again and live happily ever after. I would watch that sequel! I thought Kerri and Nathan had a lot of chemistry. BTW, did you notice his wife was the deep-fried twinkie?

After all the talk about Waitress, we needed some pics. Dear Baby, I hope someday somebody wants to hold you for 20 minutes straight and that’s all they do. They don’t pull away. They don’t look at your face. They don’t try to kiss you. All they do is wrap you up in their arms and hold on tight, without an ounce of selfishness to it.

Wow, you guys are taking me down memory lane! *Adored* Waitress!! I thought it was a charming movie and loved all the characters/actors (except her husband, who we were supposed to hate). There were so many adorable scenes with Keri and Nathan. I love the scene where she basically jumps him when he comes into the exam room. She just couldn’t help herself! Can’t say that I blame her! HAHA!!

And now y’all have got me hankering for a Waitress sequel!! Someone at the PTV message board posted a link a few days ago to a blurb about Stana possibly joining the cast of “The Americans” for their final two seasons. For those who don’t know, the stars of that show are Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys (they met on the show and are now a real-life couple who recently had a baby together). I honestly don’t know if it was just a rumor, wishful thinking on someone’s part, or a real possibility, but my first thought was…hmm, that could be interesting. Not trying to stir up any trouble, just making an observation. Heh.

He has also played a priest a couple of times and been romantic with women much older then him.
