Just saw this on the Arcimoto Twitter header, but I like your definition better! -LOL
"World's first all electric #FUV | Fun Utility Vehicle MSRP $11,900"
Also, I thought they were more expensive than that!! Wow, that's not a bad price!

I hope he does not plan on driving it on the freeway. It is neat looking but if someone hit him he would splat.

I assumed right away it was a 'Fun Utility Vehicle' but Castlelover777 was much more creative.

I drove by the factory in Eugene. I never did see any around town. For a place that has so many rainy days I was surprised with the open sides. Cool looking cars 😎

I was thinking about that but it almost looks like it's built with the roll cage of a race car. So as long as you're strapped in, maybe it's safer than it looks? And I guess you don't drive it in the rain since there are no doors. LOL I guess he will use it for running errands tooling around normal streets, driving to work but no freeways?

The FUV includes a series of safety features: a space frame enclosure to protect from rollover, impact energy absorption zones in the front, and a 3+2 harness system for each passenger that includes a standard 3-point safety belt and an additional 2-point belt over the opposing shoulder. In addition, an agile and quick ride experience and a more visible and stable form on the road than other motorcycle-class vehicles are paramount to avoiding collisions in the first place.

Thanks for researching that. I figured it had to have passed a fair amount of safety standards. It's probably a lot safer than riding his motorcycle for sure!

Video of Nathan getting his FUV! I have to admit, I never realized it drove like a motorcycle.

Nathan is so excited, it's adorable. Nice to see Nathan actually drives electric cars, not just preach about them. Both in his garage are electric - Tesla and BMW i3. He needs more garage space for his Arcimoto. lol
