Ohhhhh, nice way to start the day!!!   His hair.....and well.....everything!!... is perfection in this scene, and I love the way he's trying to play it so cool with Inara......and failing. LOL Happy Fillion Friday everyone!! I wish I had something new to post but alas, it's been too quiet. Hoping that changes next week with ConMan filming!! I remember thinking that he looked a little chunkier in Serenity. Then they got to this scene...  Apparently I need my eyes examined! He looked a tad chunky in "Trash" and he is bit chunky in 2 Guys a Gal etc but in this gif he is rather trim. |

I have watched half dozen episodes of 2 Guys and a Girl and it is very puzzling how out of that entire cast Ryan Reynolds became a "star". He wasn't a better actor or better looking. To me there was nothing that said Wow he has great presence or he lights up the screen
Personally of the original cast I liked the 2 co-stars more.

I have watched half dozen episodes of 2 Guys and a Girl and it is very puzzling how out of that entire cast Ryan Reynolds became a "star". He wasn't a better actor or better looking. To me there was nothing that said Wow he has great presence or he lights up the screen Personally of the original cast I liked the 2 co-stars more. I've come to the conclusion that so much of Hollywood is pure luck and timing. I watch some shows with really well known actors and I just scratch my head. Claire Danes is one of those for me. I just don't get it. I like Ryan Reynolds but I've never thought of him as really that talented but he's been very lucky in his career. I'm hoping that Castle, and his wide variety of projects, has opened more doors for Nathan because I think he's more talented than Reynolds, particularly in a dramatic role. I've only watched one episode of 2 Guys because I'm waiting for my DVD's rather than watch the tube version. But it's been very hard to resist knowing they're there. LOL Particularly when there is so little on TV that I care to even watch anymore. |

I've enjoyed Ryan Reynolds in certain roles, but I think Nathan has more depth. I think Ryan is better looking now than he was back then. It does seem like there is so much luck in Hollywood. I was asking my hubby last night why in the world is Jonah Hill in so many movies? I think there are tons of actors better than Ben Affleck but they keep putting him in movie after movie. Although I have some actors that I really like that aren't the best actors around, like Dana Delaney or Mark Harmon. As for 2 Guys and a Girl, I had only seen a couple of episodes a few years ago when it was on Youtube and I wasn't sure about it, but now I've watched all of season 2 and started on season 3 and I really like it! They actually deal with a lot of serious and real life issues, but in a very funny way. I think Traylor Howard and Nathan are the best on there. They have such a real life romance dealing with all the issues real people deal with. It was a lot like what I wanted to see with Caskett. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in watching 2GAAG and discussing it on here. We could watch an episode a week or watch a group of 4 or 5 and discuss. Anyone interested? |

Fabulous Fillion Friday everyone!!! Here's the cute pic of Nathan, his new car and PJ's daughters I mentioned the other day. I finally found the pic.  Of course he's holding the littles one. Wonder if he still also has the BMW i3 electric car that he had before this?  Looking at his picture from January, it's so obvious how much weight he's lost since then. Well done Captain!! |
