Please keep Californians in your prayers. There are 2 devastating fires burning. Paradice was virtually wiped out. I heard earlier that the fire was spreading at the rate of 80 football fields a minute. Malibu is under evacuation orders and Thousand Oaks (where the shooting just occurred) is also threatened. If anyone on this forum lives out there, I hope you and your family stay safe.
It was interesting reading about the celebs most memorable gifts. It made me think back. When I was 4 or 5 I desperately wanted a little toy piano like Schroeder plays although at the time I didn't know anything about Peanuts or Schroeder since it was before their Christmas show. I was thrilled to get it! I'm sure the music I made was painful to listen to but I don't remember my folks complaining.

So what was your most memorable gift?
When I was about six or so I asked for a mouse house. My mom bought me a little set like Barbie and her house, only the figures were mice. They had clothes and you could move their arms and legs. My mom was so tickled that she found this obscure mouse version of the Barbie dream house. All I remember thinking is that I meant a hamster in a cage. 🙄
I just watched the 1st episode of Firefly for the 1st time in quite a while. I fell in love all over again! With the show, the characters, the language, and particularly Nathan. He was at that perfect age, old enough to be a jaded former sergeant, young enough to be gorgeous!
I watched the whole series again this past summer and felt the same way. It is timeless and classic! I absolutely love the character of Mal and Nathan played him to perfection. It's no wonder the fans have continued to enjoy the series and keep it front and center in the media.
