Do any of you remember the Bob Hope, Bing Crosby Road Movies. Ummmm......I'm too young for that. Angel They were made way before my time but they used to show them here on Sunday afternoons when I was much younger a whole lot younger.

My guess is today would probably be the day the cast would report back for a S9. It has to feel weird for them after so many years, to have that change. At least I no longer have to pay attention to TVLine's click bait spoilers.

I'm not surprised at all!! Still wondering if they will add another one. They need a stadium for his panels! Well he's filled rooms for con panels with 6000+ people so I have to agree!! The one thing NerdHQ seems insistent on is keeping the audience small for that intimate type setting. They could sell a ton more tickets but they choose not to. I think that's what sets them apart from SDCC and other cons.

I listened to his audio chapter. He did a fantastic job!! Anyone know how I can listen to his chapter? I've tried Google searching it for you with no luck. For sure you can buy the audio book but I'm still trying to find just his chapter for you. I know it was on the net at one point but I'm not sure if they pulled it in order to sell more. In my searching a did find this great comment about Nathan's performance from a critic's review of the audio book.... "Many of these performances were stunning. For me, Nicki Clynes reading of Sharon, a traumatized woman retaining the personality of the four year old who witnessed a zombie attack on the church, was the highlight of the production. It gave me chills when I listened, and still does when I think about it even now. Nathan Fillion gave an emotional reading of Stanley MacDonald, a Canadian military man whose witnessed account of a horrific zombie slaughter is dismissed by his commanders. Fillion has this low rumble in the back of his voice that you can hear slowly begin to break as the stress of the character is pushed to the extreme."

Nathan starts around 34:00. BTW, it's pretty gross You found it! Anyone know if that is the entirety of his contribution? I listened to it again. I stand by my comments from earlier that he did a fantastic job. So much feeling in just his voice, the way he says things. Well done, Sir! I remember him talking once about his mom teaching him how to cold read something with feeling and emotion. She did a great job too! He was blessed with a wonderful voice.

Thanks for locating it, IBM! I don't have time to listen right now but will definitely do it in the next few days. I do LOVE that voice, especially when it's emotional.

Nathan's part is only around 10 or 12 mins so it won't take long to listen to.
His voice is very distinctive. When I hear it in a cartoon it kind of takes me out of the story because I'm just thinking about it being him instead of the character. Who still has their talking toy from Monsters University?
