Here's my review of The Rookie season 2 episode 14 "Casualties." How are you liking Nolan and Grace so far? Were you happy Bradford took the dog? And did Nick tell the whole truth about his secret?

I loved the glitter bombs!
When I saw Nolan's getup for their undercover operation, all I could think about were the bad guys in Firefly who all had a similar uniform.
None of their going off on their own to investigate made any sense to me. Like PTVJ said, I also didn't understand how they knew that guy would show up at Nolan's house and how Nolan was the weakest link. I would have thought it would have been Chen since she just went through a terrible trauma. They were ordered to leave the case alone. It seemed unbelievable that rookies and beat cops would insert themselves into the middle of a federal operation that they knew nothing about and they could have possibly been putting undercover agents lives in danger or even gotten themselves killed. Even though it worked out for them, I can't believe they weren't disciplined or terminated. But it's a TV show and even though some things are on the unbelievable side, I'm still loving the show, the writing, the acting, and everything about it.
When John was wearing that fitness tracker, I was afraid it would go off at the wrong time and alert a bad guy that he was there but at least that didn't happen.
I'm really into John and Grace. They are moving slowly with their relationship and that's fine. I'm not anxious for this one to end any time soon.
