This is so totally characteristic of Nathan. He walks the walk. He's always given huge credit to the soap stars and now he makes it a point to even make an appearance. Good for him! I read the article as well as the comments and was happy to hear so many fans admiring the man he is.

In the best 100 TV episodes of this century, the Firefly episode 'Out of Gas' came in 95th. I thought it should have done better than that. Things that scored higher? an episode of the Kardashians, an episode of Barefoot Contessa, really? Actually, the majority were from shows I never watched.

I don’t have much faith in a poll that puts ANY Kardashian episode in front of ANY Firefly episode. Sacrilegious. 🙄

I agree castlelover777! Good grief!
I do have to agree with Out Of Gas being the best of the Firefly episodes though. I can't tell you how many times I've gone back and just watched that one episode.

I agree with you about Out of Gas. I have watched that episode SO many times. From the amazing first scene of Mal crashing to the deck to the wonderful ending with Mal asking if everyone will still be there when he wakes up; perfection.

I've just got to say, I can't believe the level of hate that is out there for Nathan. Now that there is so much talk about The Rookie, they have come back out in droves to bash Nathan and everything he's ever done and to declare his new show will be a failure and to say Stana was the only reason Castle was successful. The fact that they hate him so much but listen to his interviews and follow his career just so they can spread their hate on twitter, blogs, and other social media is beyond me. Who does that?
Everything I have ever seen about Nathan shows that he is thoughtful, compassionate, a true friend, and a leader both on and off set. I always think he adds a lot to every show he is in even if it's a small part. If I hated him I certainly wouldn't follow his career!
Sorry, I've just seen so much especially on twitter, I just had to vent.

I use to read and post on one of the other Castle boards. The posts and replies got so nasty that the originator shut it down. People did the same thing on there and would constantly be asked " If you do not like him why are you following him.

The more she lets this vitriol go on the less I like her, that’s for sure.

I don't think Nathan could make it as a model. His poses are a little unorthodox.

At Dra gon Con 2018
#AdrianPasdar (Homeland Security agent in 'Setup' & 'Countdown' on Castle): my favorite episode to shoot was the one where i was handcuffed to the nicest man in Hollywood, #clarkgregg. Well, it's a tie between him and #NathanFillion. #AgentsofSHIELD #dragoncon2018

Sorry, I've just seen so much especially on twitter, I just had to vent. Unfortunately the same can be said about the level of hate out there for Stana. Instead of it being on Twitter, however, it's on blogs and forums like this that are supposed to be for her fans or both fans. Like the rookie, these posters predicted failure for Absentia and still claim it to be a failure even though it's filming a second season. Sad that both sets of fans have a small very vocal group of haters who can't get over whatever happened. It's taken me a while to find forums for both that are moderated so well that the hate doesn't creep in. I'm more of a Stana fan, both acting wise and personality wise, but I can't imagine any other two actors creating the characters of Kate and Rick as well as they did in the early seasons. I loved Absentia (her acting was amazing and the whole show a really tense rollercoaster ride) and plan to give The Rookie a try.
